About the bowmaker Armin Seebass

more than 25 years of bow making experience

After a childhood full of music and a degree in forestry sciences I finally found a way to combine both interests in wood and music, and went to Newark school of violin making. From there I spent four more years on my travels as bow making apprentice on the Isle of white, in Munich and in Bussels, to familiarize myself with the three great european bowmaking traditions: The british, the german and the french. Since 2003 I make, restore and repair bows at my workshop in finnish Lapland.
